Z SPECIAL UNIT ASSOCIATIONS

Z Special Unit was a joint Allied special forces unit formed during the Second World War to operate behind Japanese lines in South East Asia.

Following the end of World War II many Australian military personnel who had served in secret special operations units joined and formed a number of units including Z Special Unit Associations located in Victoria , New South Wales, Queensland and eventually to separate associations in Western Australia. Research is currently being undertaken on the history of these associations and will be posted when available.
